Join us on Monday, March 14th, 2022, from 7:15 – 8:45 p.m. ET to watch a series of short films to honour Black History & Futures! All participants will watch the films and engage in an interactive discussion surrounding anti-Black racism. This event is an opportunity to gain knowledge about black history, anti-Black racism in Canada, Black resistance, and Black identity formation.
This event is open to all KPE students! Whether you identify as a part of the Black community or want to be a better ally by learning about Black history, join us for this thought-provoking, educational activity!
This event is planned to be held in person at the Athletic Centre and also virtually. Those attending in person must adhere to all University protocols for in-person events: masks are mandatory and same day Ucheck screening must be completed before coming to campus. In-person attendees will also be required to show their Vaccine Passport QR code for this event.
