Career Networking 101

Join us on November 18 for an evening focused on two career paths: athletic therapy and kinesiology. Come learn from KPE alumni working in these fields as well as student mentors who are completing degrees in the Master of Professional Kinesiology and Physical Therapy programs. You will have the opportunity to build connections and network, so don’t miss out!

Participating alumni:

Kinesiologist: Triina Forbell, BPHE, R. Kin.

Triina graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelors in Physical and Health Education, and is a Registered Member of the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario. She has been part of the team since 2001 and has proudly participated in the development of many innovative programs at ATC. Professional highlights include representing the team and work at conferences and participating in a study published by ATC Neurologists.  Her focus includes Seating and Mobility and Spasticity Management.

Athletic Therapist: Clare Richard, BPHE, MSc

Upon graduation from the Bachelors of Physical and Health Education from the University of Toronto, Clare went on to complete her Athletic Therapy Certificate from York University and her Masters of Rehabilitation Science from McMaster University. Since certifying in 2013, Clare has had the opportunity to work and travel with a wide variety of athletes including: the National Ballet of Canada, Karate Canada, Aurora Tigers Jr A Hockey Association, Ballet Jorgen, and George Brown College Varsity Athletics.
