Stress Management in Grad School

Grad school can be stressful, in its own unique way. Each day, you are growing your skills and knowledge, as you enter into new spaces and frames of mind. Rather than accept a state of constant stress, we as grad students can explore and use strategies to manage the different kinds of stress you may encounter.

Tune in online for a workshop on stress management presented by Gradlife, U of T’s hub for graduate support. In this workshop, you’ll:

  • explore the causes and kinds of stress we may face in grad school

  • address ways to recognize stress with compassion

  • explore techniques to respond to stress with a commitment to awareness and resilience

  • balance multiple roles and responsibilities, so that we can holistically support our academic lives
