Time Management 101 in Grad School

In grad school, it can often feel like there are endless tasks: classes, study groups, research, meetings with professors, reading, writing, and keeping up a social life. With so much to do and so little time, it can be easy to feel overwhelmed. However, with the right set of techniques, grad school can become a place of progress and clarity.

Tune in online for this workshop presented by Gradlife, U of T’s hub for graduate support. In this workshop, you’ll:

  • Explore key strategies to work with time, so that stress and deadlines do not overtake your life.

  • Discuss ways to effectively schedule your weeks and months, in relation to short and long-term goals.

  • Examine techniques for budgeting, prioritizing, and addressing distractions, so that you can do more with less time.

  • Come away with a set of skills that you can apply now and for the coming semester, to move ahead in your program!
