In this session you’ll:
Acknowledge and discuss barriers and obstacles facing international students looking for work in Canada
Explore how and where to begin job searching
Develop strategies and support systems to help you build and grow your career
Discuss general information about work visas and supports available for international students looking to work in Canada
Centering the experience of international students, this event is co-hosted by U of T Student Life’s Career Exploration & Education team and the Centre for International Experience. This session will be led by Mary McAuliffe, Career Educator and Joseph Unufegan, International Student Immigration Advisor. Both Mary and Joseph will be available from 6:30 - 7 p.m. for questions and answers.
