CV and Personal Statement Event

Applying to grad or professional school? Feeling stuck?

Most further education programs require that you create a CV, personal statement and/or letter of intent to communicate your intentions and interests for applying to the program.

Sign up for U of T Student Life’s online CV and Personal Statement event, happening November 23, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Build a personal schedule from a set of popular drop-in mini-sessions so your experience is tailored to what you need! The goal of this event is to support learners, including current students and alumni up to two year from date of graduation, who are applying for further education.

We will introduce key components for writing your application documents. You will have the opportunity to receive support and feedback virtually from career educators and writing instructors in real-time, so please bring all your drafts with you!

You can participate in mini-workshops, small group Q & A sessions, and one-on-one appointments with Career Educators and Writing Instructors. Leave with increased confidence in knowing your application documents are stronger than when you started.

How to Participate:

Register for the CV and Personal Statement Event online

Attendees will receive the link and instructions for accessing the online session upon registration.

Please note that the registration deadline is November 23, 2021, at 9 a.m. E.T.
