Equity Talks: Food and Health

How can we create a better relationship with food, particularly in relationship to health? 

This interactive workshop, offered by the Office of the Registrar and Student Services and facilitated by KPE's Equity Engagement & Student Advisor, is tailored to students in the Bachelor of Kinesiology (BKin) program and will explore ideas around food and wellbeing. Students of all backgrounds are welcome!

Topics of discussion will include:

  •  How do we understand what is “healthy food”?

  • What impact does racism, xenophobia and other forms of oppression impact what is seen as healthy food?

  • How can we create a better relationship with food, particularly in relation to health?
