Whether it’s writer’s block, chronic procrastination, or crippling paralysis when faced with a writing assignment, many people are affected by writing anxiety at some point in their academic careers. In this 90 minute workshop, we will discuss a variety of strategies that can help ease writing anxieties, including low-stakes writing exercises, note-taking strategies, story-boarding, and mind-mapping. We will also discuss ways to identify and adapt these strategies to their own particular needs. This online workshop is taught by Dr. Kathleen Ogden.
